One Week in Ireland and My Eyes Were Smiling

This past October I was invited on a FAM Trip to Ireland with CIE Tours and let’s just say the trip was nothing short of magical. From the stunning Cliffs of Moher, to the infamous Blarney Stone (I kissed the stone and I liked it), to the majestic church ruins at the Rock of Cashel, and many other breathtaking sites in between, I walked away knowing immediately that I couldn’t wait to go back for more!

Prior to my trip I thought Ireland was just pubs and castles, but that's not true. I have never seen so much green in a country, cows leisurely grazing everywhere, and people that were just so kind and full of life with very fun music. We visited Dublin, Galway, Killarney and Waterford and did quite a bit of driving in between.

Bonus perks for only being a five and a half hour direct flight from Boston and for the best Irish Coffee and Guinness that I have ever had. For all fellow East Coasters I highly recommend adding Ireland to your list of long weekend destinations whether it be for a girls’ trip, family adventure, golf trip, or just to get away and see something different. I can’t wait to go back for more “Craic” (once you visit you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about).

If you’d like to experience it firsthand and travel to Ireland, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Happy travels!
